Support B.R.A.K.E.S. Night with Kyle Busch Coming to Knights Stadium

(Fort Mill, SC) - The Charlotte Knights are pleased to announce that on Monday, August 13, the club will host "Support B.R.A.K.E.S Night with Kyle Busch" at Knights Stadium. Busch, the 2004 NASCAR Nationwide Series Rookie of the Year, 2005 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Rookie of the Year, 2009 NASCAR Nationwide Series Champion and 2010 NASCAR Camping World Series Owner Champion, will be on-hand to throw out a ceremonial first pitch and sign autographs for fans in two 30-minute sessions at 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

Tickets for the 7:15 p.m. game against the Norfolk Tides are available at the Knights Ticket Office located at Knights Stadium, online at www.charlotteknights.com, or by phone at 704-357-8071 (North Carolina) or 803-548-8050 (South Carolina).

Currently, Busch has 105 victories in NASCAR's top-three touring series, Sprint Cup Series (24), Nationwide Series (51), and Camping World Truck Series (30) to rank third all-time in wins behind Richard Petty (200) and David Pearson (106).

B.R.A.K.E.S., which stands for Be Responsible and Keep Everyone Safe, is a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization founded by NHRA Top Fuel Drag Racer Doug Herbert in memory of his two sons who were killed in a car accident. By training and educating teenage drivers and their parents, B.R.A.K.E.S. aims to promote safe and responsible driving in an attempt to prevent injuries and save lives.
