Bowling Green Hot Rods News Release
Fort Wayne, IN - Due to heavy rains at Parkview Field, the Bowling Green Hot Rods and the Fort Wayne TinCaps were suspended on Saturday night. The two teams will resume action on Sunday at 2:05 PM CDT with the TinCaps holding a 2-0 advantage in the top of the second inning. A seven-inning contest will follow the suspended game on Sunday.
An error in the bottom of the first inning contributed to two unearned runs scoring against Hot Rods starter Ryan Carpenter on Saturday night. The first pitch on Sunday will be delivered to Tyler Goeddel in a 1-2 count with runners on first and second with two outs in the top of the second. Pitching matchups have not been announced for the two contests.
Tune in to the games on the flagship station for the Hot Rods Radio Network, WBGN-AM 1340 "The Ticket" and online at 1340wbgn.com. The Forever Communications Pregame Show with Hank Fuerst begins at 1:45 PM CDT.
