Inclement Weather Postpones B-Mets Series Opener

June 12, 2012 - Eastern League (EL) Binghamton Mets

BINGHAMTON, NY - Tuesday night's game between the Binghamton Mets and Reading Phillies was postponed due to inclement weather. It will be made up as part of a doubleheader starting Wednesday evening at 5:35 PM. The teams will play two seven-inning contests with gates opening at 5:00 PM.

The postponement marks the fifth of the season and third in the last two weeks. Ticketholders for tonight's game can redeem their ticket for one of equal or lesser value to any future 2012 regular season home game, excluding July 3.

The B-Mets (29-30) will look to start their rain-shortened series tomorrow night at 5:35 PM. LHP Mark Cohoon takes the mound for Binghamton against RHP Jonathan Pettibone in the opener while RHP Collin McHugh battles RHP Austin Hyatt in the nightcap. The Horizons Federal Credit Union pre-game show for the day's action begins at 5:20 PM on Newsradio 1290 WNBF.
