Aeros and Rock Cats Rained Out

(New Britain, CT)--The Akron Aeros game scheduled for Tuesday night at New Britain Stadium has been postponed due to rain.
The teams will make up the game as part of a doubleheader on Wednesday afternoon at 5:05 PM. Both games will be seven innings. RHP Brett Brach (1-2, 4.44) will start game one for the Aeros against RHP Steve Hirschfeld (4-4, 3.20). Game two starters have not been announced.
The Aeros (39-20) have won six straight games, and hold a 7 1/2 game lead in the EL Western Division. Wednesday's twinbill will open an eight-game road trip with New Britain and Reading. All Aeros games are broadcast on Fox Sports 1350 AM.
