Trenton Thunder News Release
(Trenton, NJ) - The Trenton Thunder, Double-A affiliate of the New York Yankees, announced Sunday that infielder David Adams has been activated from the disabled list and INF Yadil Mujica has been transferred back to the team from AAA Scranton/Wilkes Barre. Also starting pitcher Graham Stoneburner has been placed on the disabled list for the second time this season due to groin stiffness.
Adams, a member of the Yankees 40-man roster, missed the team's last 29 games with neck stiffness. He will bat third this afternoon against Portland. Mujica re-joins the Thunder after hitting .423 (11-26) in eight games with the team earlier this season.
