The Chicago White Sox have announced two moves that affect the Winston-Salem Dash:
- RHP Leroy Hunt promoted to Double-A Birmingham from Winston-Salem
- RHP Terance Marin promoted to Winston-Salem from Low-A Kannapolis
Hunt exits the Carolina League as its saves leader with seven. In 12 appearances, Hunt posted a 2.35 earned run average and struck out 21 batters in 15.1 innings. This is the former fourth-round pick's first trip to Double-A. Marin is also heading to the highest level of his career after going 2-1 with a 1.21 earned run average in nine relief efforts with the Intimidators. Marin will wear number 19.
