INF Buck Britton Placed on DL

BOWIE, Md. - The Bowie Baysox announce a roster move today. INF Buck Britton was placed on the Disabled List, retroactive to 4/19 and INF Carlos Rojas was transferred to Bowie from Single-A Aberdeen. With the moves, the Baysox have 25 active players on the 25-man roster and five players on the Disabled List.In 13 games for the Baysox this season, Britton was batting .321 with four doubles, one home run and four RBIs. He recorded a five hit game on April 12 and had started six games at third base and seven games in the outfield for the Baysox this season.
Rojas has not yet appeared in a game this season. In 53 games with the Baysox in 2011, Rojas hit .213 with five doubles and nine RBIs. He also played in 54 games with Triple-A Norfolk, batting .198 with three doubles and six RBIs.
