Playoffs Begin: Blazers Vs Royals Friday & Saturday

After finishing off a successful regular season last weekend with a 47-20-2-3 record, the BC Division Champion Blazers will kick off the playoffs Friday and Saturday at home against the Victoria Royals.

The Blazers and Royals will play a best of 7 series with Kamloops holding home ice advantage. In 8 games this season vs Victoria, the Blazers had a 7-1-0-0 record. All home games are a 7pm start.

Playoff Packages as well as single game playoff tickets are now available at the Blazers Box Office or online. Box Office hours are Monday through Thursday 9am-5pm, Friday 9am-game time, and Saturday 12pm-game time.

Game 1 on Friday, March 23rd features some great promotions and giveaways. The first 3000 fans into the building will receive Blazers playoff tshirts and all fans are encouraged to wear white for a "playoff white out".

As well, MEG Energy will be on hand to supply boxes of Kraft Dinner for fans to use as noise makers throughout the game and then donate to the Kamloops Food Bank on their way out. MEG Energy will also be handing out 3000 pucks and donating $25 to the Food Bank for each Blazers shot on goal until the 3rd period timeout.

For Game 2 on Saturday, March 24th, fans will get Tim Hortons thunder sticks to make noise and cheer on the Blazers!
