SPRINGFIELD, Mass. ... The American Hockey League announced today that Worcester Sharks right wing Tommy Wingelshas been selected as the Reebok/AHL Player of the Week for the period ending Dec. 18, 2011.
In four games last week Wingels recorded four goals, two assists and a plus-6 rating as the Sharks closed out a seven-game road swing having earned 11 of a possible 14 standings points.
