P-Bruins Sign Rookie Forward

Providence, RI - The Providence Bruins, in their 20th season in the American Hockey League, announced today that the club has signed forward Adam Presizniuk to a Professional Tryout Agreement.

A native of Calgary, AB, Presizniuk made his professional debut with the Trenton Titans (ECHL) on October 14. In 15 games with the Titans this season, the forward has recorded 3+710 totals and two penalty minutes.

Presizniuk is a four-year product of the Union College. As an assistant captain in 2010-11, Presizniuk recorded 12 goals and 21 assists for 33 points. The 6'0", 180 lb. forward led the Dutchmen in scoring as a sophomore with a career-high 16 goals and 38 points. Union's most valuable player in 2008-09, his 38 points set a school record and he became only the third Dutchmen in Division I history to lead the team in points, goals and assists in the same season. The 24-year-old finished his collegiate career with 131 points on 48 goals and 83 assists.

The P-Bruins kick off a three-game road trip on Wednesday, traveling to Hershey to face the Bears for the first time this season. The club has Thanksgiving off, but will spend the holiday on the road, driving to Norfolk to face the Admirals in a two-game series on Friday and Saturday. The P-Bruins are back at The Dunk on Friday, December 2 for a 7:05 p.m. tilt with the Connecticut Whale for "Rally Towel Night," which are free to the first 3,000 fans.
