
Dallas Sends Larsen to Texas

Frisco, TX - The Dallas Stars announced Friday that the club has assigned defenseman Philip Larsen to the Texas Stars, Dallas' primary affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL).
Larsen, 21, has appeared in 11 career NHL games with three points (3 assists) and a +2 rating. Dallas' fifth-round selection in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft, Larsen has appeared in three games this season with the Stars, averaging 13:30 time-on-ice per game. The 6-1, 190-pound defenseman from Esbjerg, Denmark spent the majority of the 2010-11 season with the Texas Stars, appearing in 54 games and collecting 22 points (4 goals, 18 assists) as a rookie.
Texas travels to Oklahoma City on Saturday, October 15th for a 7:00 P.M. faceoff against the Barons. The Stars return home on Thursday, October 20th to take on the San Antonio Rampage at 7:30 P.M. Thursday is 3-2-1 night with $3 domestic drafts, $2 sodas and $1 hot dogs. Thursday is also H-E-B Food Drive Night benefiting the Capital Area Food Bank. Bring eight or more non-perishable food items and receive a free ticket to the game.
