Broncos Acquire Tendler

Swift Current, SK---Swift Current Broncos' Head Coach and General Manager Mark Lamb has announced the club has acquired goaltender Derek Tendler from the Vancouver Giants in exchange for a 6th round WHL Bantam Draft pick in 2011.

Tendler, 18 years old, is entering his 3rd WHL season. Last season he posted 4 wins, 2 losses, an overtime loss, a 3.74 goals against average and a .866 save percentage for the Giants. This season he has played in one game for the Giants, a 7-2 loss to Portland. Tendler is from Regina, SK and is 6'0" and 211 lbs.

Tendler is expected to join the Broncos this weekend when they travel to Calgary on Friday and Edmonton on Saturday.
