Winterhawks Games to be on Alpha Broadcasting Radio Stations in 2010-11

For the second straight season Portland Winterhawks games will be heard on the Alpha Broadcasting family of stations, as Winterhawks games will be split between Freedom 970 AM (KXFD), 95.5 The Game (KXTG) and Newsradio 750 AM KXL.

"We had a great first season with Alpha Broadcasting and are thrilled to continue this partnership," said Portland Winterhawks President Doug Piper. "With large audiences, excellent signal strength and an exceptional production staff, they've helped bring Winterhawks radio broadcasts to a new level."

Andy Kemper will continue to provide play-by-play of the action on the ice, while Todd Vrooman enters his second season as the radio analyst. The schedule through October is set, and is listed below. The remaining radio schedule will be available later in the season.
