Winnipeg Blue Bombers News Release
WINNIPEG, MB - Bicycle Valet Winnipeg and the Winnipeg Blue Bombers are pleased to announce a successful introductory Bicycle Valet at Game 4 on July 24th against Edmonton.
"A free bicycle valet has proven to be very popular amongst Bomber fans," says David Wieser, project manager of Bicycle Valet Winnipeg. "I expect it to be even more popular as more fans will choose to cycle to the next game knowing that we are here to look after their bikes."
Blue Bomber fans cycling to the game enjoyed the terrific service with the knowledge that their property would be well taken care of. Many other fans have indicated that they will take their bicycle to the next game with the knowledge that Bicycle Valet Winnipeg will be in place for the next home game on August 13th against Hamilton.
"This is a great initiative by Bike Valet Winnipeg and offers our Bomber fans an alternative to bringing their cars to the game," says Blue Bomber President, Jim Bell. "We are pleased to be a part of it."
Bicycle Valet Winnipeg will be open one hour before kickoff for fans to drop off their bicycles just south of Gate 6, and can be picked up anytime until 30 minutes after the game ends.
Fans wishing to skate or skateboard to the game are welcome to use the Valet service as well as fans with small children, as the Valet also accepts strollers and jogging strollers.
