
Stala Earns Nod as Top Canadian

Hamilton, Ontario - Hamilton Tiger-Cats receiver Dave Stala has been named CFL's Canadian Player of the Week for his performance in the Ticats 29-22 win over the Winnipeg Blue Bombers last Saturday at Ivor Wynne Stadium.
Stala caught four passes for 59 yards against the Blue Bombers, including a 15-yard touchdown that stood as the game-winning score.
In six games this season, Stala has caught 33 passes for 390 yards and two touchdowns.
This is the second time Stala has been named the league's Canadian Player of the Week.
Ticats wide receiver Arland Bruce III was runner-up for Offensive Player of the Week after hauling in 11 passes for 197 yards and one touchdown.
