PawSox Snap Skid and End Trip with a Win

Pawtucket Red Sox News Release
The Pawtucket Red Sox ended a three game slide on Wednesday night in Allentown, scoring 4 runs in the sixth to beat Lehigh Valley 4-2. Iron Pigs DH, Chris Aguila put his club in front with a pair of rbi singles. The first came off starter Randor Bierd. The second, off reliever Rich Hill. Hill (1-0) notched his first Pawtucket win. Michael Bowden made his first relief appearance of the year. According to Michael, The Red Sox have made him a "permanent member" of the bullpen, no doubt, to expedite a promotion to Boston. Bowdens' first relief appearance was a success. He worked two shutout innings, allowing a hit. He had one strikeout.
In the sixth, Lars Anderson doubled and scored. Josh Reddick, Jorge Jimenez and Gil Velazquez followed. Pawtucket got the 4 runs on 5 hits in the inning. Overall, Ryan Kalish had two hits, as did Anderson and Reddick.
The Iron Pigs wound up taking 3 of 4 from the Sox. They return to McCoy on Thursday for a 4 game homestand that begins at 7:05 p.m. Robert Coello (2-1, 1.61) will face Rochester.
