IronPigs Game Notes
July 7, 2010 - International League (IL1)
Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
The fifth-place IronPigs (35-51) play the finale of a four-game series against the fourth-place Pawtucket Red Sox (38-47) -- Boston's top affiliate. With a 6-3 win last night, the 'Pigs have tied their season-high with a three-game winning streak. Although Lehigh Valley is just 5-10 in its last 15, the Pigs have won seven of their last 11 at Coca-Cola Park... Pawtucket has dropped three straight, but remains 5-5 in its last 10 affairs. Since June 1, the Sox have gone just 14-20... In addition, they own the worst road record in the International League (13-30, .302).
First-Pitch tonight is at 7:05 p.m. for All-Star Pint Glass Night, presented by BJ's Wholesale Club.
The Pigs next play five games in four days -- starting with two in Syracuse -- before the All-Star Break. Tonight marks their last home game until 7/23 (a span of 13 games and 15 days).
