Johnny Rosenblatt Bobblehead Giveaway Highlights Next Homestand

The Omaha Royals are back in action at Rosenblatt Stadium on Thursday, May 20 to open a 12-game homestand. It will be highlighted by a Johnny Rosenblatt bobblehead giveaway on May 22, presented by Coca-Cola and will also feature two Thirsty Thursdays, a couple Werner Enterprises Friday Fireworks shows, plus the Inflatamaniacs' first visit.

Thursday, May 20, 6:35 p.m.: The Royals open a four-game series vs. the Salt Lake Bees and fans can get their buzz on. It's Thirsty Thursday, when fans enjoy $1 beers and Cokes, courtesy of 96.1 The Brew, Action 3 News and The City Weekly! It's also Diversity Night, which will have a Wizard of Oz theme.

Friday, May 21, 7:05 p.m.: It's Werner Enterprises Fireworks Friday. Enjoy the best post-game fireworks show in the Midwest! Plus, over 1,500 area Girl Scouts will earn a badge as they sleep over at Rosenblatt Stadium. It's also Law Enforcement Night; area law enforcement will have helicopters, boats, horses and other displays in front of the ballpark, showing fans how they keep our streets safe. The night is also presented by 1110 KFAB, Twister 93.3, KETV and The City Weekly.

Saturday, May 22, 7:05 p.m.: The Royals celebrate the history of Rosenblatt Stadium. Gates open at 6:00 p.m. and the 1st 1,500 fans receive a unique commemorative item in the form of a Johnny Rosenblatt bobblehead, courtesy of Coca-Cola! As Omaha's mayor, Rosenblatt worked diligently to bring professional baseball to Omaha's Municipal Stadium. The ballpark was renamed in his honor in 1964 and has been the home of the Omaha Royals since 1969. The night is also presented by 1620 The Zone, WOWT and The Reader.

Sunday, May 23, 1:35 p.m.: It's U.S. Bank Family FUNday, with clowns, face painting and balloon art. Subway Kids Club members get in FREE. After the game all kids are invited to run the bases with Casey, presented by Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church. Plus, it's a Nebraska College Savings Program "Hit the Books" day: kids who completed the reading program earned a ticket to the game. The day is also presented by KGBI 100.7 FM, Fox 42 and Family Spectrum Magazine.

Monday, May 24, 6:35 p.m.: The Royals open a four-game series vs. the Colorado Springs Sky Sox and Rotella's Italian Bakery presents $1 hot dog night - Hebrew National hot dogs are just a buck! Plus, it's another Nebraska College Savings Program "Hit the Books" game. The night is also presented by 89.7 The River.

Tuesday, May 25, 6:35 p.m.: It's Valpak 2-Buck 2uesday. General Admission tickets are only 2 bucks! It's also another Nebraska College Savings Program "Hit the Books" game. And at Tuesday home games, just bring your KRAFT Singles wrapper to the Rosenblatt ticket office and buy one ticket to get one FREE from KRAFT singles! The night is also presented by CD 105.9, The CW and The Reader.

Wednesday, May 26, 6:35 p.m.: It's Subway Kids Eat Free Night: the 1st 100 kids 12-and-under receive a free personal Subway pizza and a Coke and all kids after that get a free hot dog and a Coke! Plus, Subway Kids Club members get in FREE. It's also another Nebraska College Savings Program "Hit the Books" game. The night is also presented by Star 104.5, The CW, The Midtown O, The West O and The Sarpy Sun.

Thursday, May 27, 6:35 p.m.: It's Thirsty Thursday, when fans enjoy $1 beers and Cokes, courtesy of 96.1 The Brew, Action 3 News and The City Weekly! It's also Jersey Shore Night - any fan who attends the Royals game with a "blowout," or "bump," shows a receipt from a spray tan or brings a bottle of hair gel will receive a General Admission ticket. Plus, the Omaha Chamber of Commerce will be hosting Rush Hour Connections from 4-6 p.m. on the U.S. Cellular Home Run Porch, giving business professionals a networking opportunity in a relaxing atmosphere!

Friday, May 28, 7:05 p.m.: The Royals kick off Memorial Day weekend and a four-game series vs. the Round Rock Express with Werner Enterprises Fireworks Friday! Also, the team will celebrate its mascot Casey's birthday with Mascot Olympics! Area mascots will compete against each other in feats of strength and agility. The night is also presented by 99.9 KGOR, KETV and The City Weekly.

Saturday, May 29, 7:05 p.m.: The Inflatamaniacs perform for the 1st time in the history of historic Rosenblatt Stadium! This group of inflatable mascots will entertain fans throughout the game. Also, it's Christmas in July in May! Fans bringing an unwrapped toy for Heartland Family Services of Papillion will get a buy-one-get-one-FREE ticket offer! Plus, the Papillion Fire Department will be on hand to help collect toys and money for the less fortunate. The night is presented by Power 106.9, WOWT and The Reader.
