
Rain Inhibits Bandits from Playing Afternoon Finale

Quad Cities River Bandits News Release
Wednesday afternoon's game between the River Bandits and Wisconsin Timber Rattlers has been cancelled due to rain. Since the Bandits and Timber Rattlers do not meet again in the first half of the season, this game will not be made up.
Tickets from Wednesday's game can be used for any regular season River Bandits home game during the 2010 season, subject to availability.
The River Bandits hit the road on Thursday to embark on their longest roadtrip to this point in 2010. The will open a four-game set with Kane County before heading to Cedar Rapids for three with the Kernals. Right-hander Shelby Miller (0-2) will now start against the Cougars. The Bandits return to Modern Woodmen Park, Friday, May 21 to open a seven-game homestand against Peoria and Beloit. Friday night is another Lujack's Friday Fireworks night and it's City of Davenport Public Works Night. Saturday will be the Stan Musial bobblehead giveaway presented by the Clarion Hotel and the players will wear special pink jerseys which will be auctioned off after the game to raise money for the Quad Cities affiliate of the Susan G. Komen foundation.
