Hudson sends PawSox up the River

Daniel Hudson and the Charlotte Knights defeated the PawSox on Saturday night, 8-4. Hudson, a top White Sox prospect, allowed just 2 earned runs in 6 innings. Hudson had six strikeouts. The PawSox scored twice in the sixth on RBI by Lars Anderson and Gustavo Molina. Another pair came in the eighth on a home run by Tug Hulett and a base hit by Niuman Romero. In the ninth the PawSox had the bases loaded, but the three men were left stranded. Hulett, Anderson and Ryan Khoury had two hits apiece.
Kris Johnson (1-2) took the loss, giving up 6 runs in four and a third innings. TJ Large was excellent in relief. Large worked 2.2 innings, allowing just one hit. He struck out 5. The series concludes on Sunday at 2:15 p.m. Michael Bowden (0-1, 6.86) faces Lucas Harrell (1-2, 5.28).
