Concert At The Cove 2010

South Bend Silver Hawks News Release
After a successful stint in the minor leagues, or more accurately, a successful run of concerts in minor league ballparks in 2009, Wilco will take the field once again to play their only remaining Midwest concert of 2010 at South Bend's Coveleski Ballpark on Friday, July 30 at 7:00 PM. Gates open at 5:00 PM. The concert features special guests Yo La Tengo.
Tickets are priced at $45 and go on sale Saturday, May 15 at Noon EST (11:00 AM CDT) and will be available in person at the Coveleski Ballpark box office, online through etix.com or Wilcoworld.net and by phone at 1-800-514-ETIX. All tickets are general admission. Free admission for all children age four and under.
Current Wilco plans include only two additional U.S. performances this year: the band's recently announced, self-curated SOLID SOUND FESTIVAL August 13-15 at MASS MoCA (Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art), and a performance at Jazz Aspen on September 3. The SOLID SOUND FESTIVAL is an independently promoted and ticketed three-day event of music, art, comedy, interactivity and more.
Coveleski Ballpark is located in South Bend, Indiana, and is home to the South Bend Silver Hawks, the Midwest League Class A Affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks. There will be no baseball game on the day of the concert. For more information about Coveleski Ballpark, please visit SILVERHAWKS.com.
