Dragons Game Suspended In Lake County

Eastlake, Ohio-The Midwest League game between the Dayton Dragons and Lake County Captains was suspended due to rain and lightning on Wednesday night. The game was stopped at the end of the third inning with no score. The game will resume on Thursday, May 6th at 5:30 p.m. and be followed by the regularly-scheduled game. Thursday's suspended game is scheduled for nine innings and will resume where it was stopped on Wednesday. The second game on Thursday will be a seven-inning game.

The two clubs completed three quick innings on Wednesday before heavy rains hit Classic Park. Neither club had a hit

The Dragons were scheduled to send right-hander J.C. Sulbaran (2-0, 3.94) to the mound on Thursday against Lake County's Danny Salazar (0-1, 6.62). Following Thursday's games, Dayton will travel to South Bend for a three-game series with the Silver Hawks. The Dragons next home game is Monday, May 10 against the Fort Wayne TinCaps at Fifth Third Field.
