Tuesday, March 2 - Missouri Mavericks vs. Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees, 7:05 p.m. CST

The Mavs host the Killer Bees in the only game between the teams at Independence Events Center. Rio Grande Valley won both games in Hidalgo, Texas during the fourth weekend of the season (November 6 & 7). Since the last time the two teams played, only eight Mavericks' remain on the roster. Both teams are fighting for their playoff lives as Missouri is currently in the fifth spot in the north and the Killer Bees are in sixth place in the south.
Friday, March 5 - Missouri Mavericks vs. Colorado Eagles, 7:05 p.m. CST

Colorado comes to Independence for the final game between the teams this season. Missouri is currently 1-4-0 against the Eagles this season however the Mavericks won the last meeting in a shootout. Mavericks' forward Nick Sirota has six goals in five games against the Eagles and he has nearly half of the Mavericks 14 goals. Sirota and Jeff Christian are tied for the Mavs lead with seven points each against Colorado. Eagles' forward Ryan McLeod lead's all scorers with 10 points (3-710) in the series.
Saturday, March 6 - Missouri Mavericks at Tulsa Oilers, 7:05 p.m. CST

Missouri faces off against the Oilers for the ninth and final time this season. The Mavericks are 5-2-1 against the Oilers this season and 3-0-0 at BOK Center. Tulsa currently trails the Mavs by four points in the Northern Conference standings for the fifth and final playoff spot. Missouri has outscored the Oilers 6-0 in the third period in the last three games including a three-goal comeback last Friday that lifted the Mavericks to victory.
Sunday, March 7 - Missouri Mavericks Mississippi RiverKings, 3:05 p.m. CST

Missouri hosts the final game of the season between the Mavericks and RiverKings on the team's only Sunday home game of their inaugural campaign. It is the 11th meeting of the season and Missouri has won the last two contests. Missouri and Mississippi have been evenly matched throughout the season in which both teams have won five games and both teams have scored 35 goals. Missouri has gone 11 for 65 on the power play and Mississippi has gone 11 for 64.

Tuesday, February 23 - Missouri 4 vs. Mississippi 3- Shootout
The Missouri Mavericks defeated the Mississippi RiverKings, 4-3, in a shootout Tuesday night in front of 4,141 fans at Independence Events Center. Mavericks' forward Jeff Christian tallied a goal and two assists and Toby Lafrance had a pair of goals including the game winner in the shootout.
Friday, February 26 - Missouri 5 vs. Tulsa 4
The Mavericks overcame a two-goal third period deficit to beat the Tulsa Oilers, 5-4, in front of a sellout crowd of 5,728 at Independence Events Center Friday night. Simon Watson had a pair of goals and Derek Pallardy and Carlyle Lewis each had a goal and an assist as the Mavericks moved above Tulsa into fifth place in the Northern Conference.
Saturday, February 27 - Missouri 4 vs. Wichita 3 - Overtime
Missouri defeated the Wichita Thunder 4-3 in overtime Saturday night in front of a capacity crowd of 5,800 fans at the IEC. Jared Lavender scored the game winning goal just 27 seconds into the overtime period, and Jeff Christian recorded a goal and two assists as the Mavericks stayed in fifth place in the Northern Conference standings. Tomas Klempa had two goals and an assist for the Thunder.
Sunday, February 28 - Missouri 4 at Texas 2
Brett Hammond had two power play goals and Todd Paul tallied three assists as the Mavericks won their fourth straight game, 4-2, Sunday evening over the Texas Brahmas at NYTEX Sports Center. Mavericks' goaltender Charlie Effinger improved his record to 7-1-0 with Missouri by stopping 32 of 34 shots and only allowed two power play goals in the game.

Season tickets on sale - Mavericks 2010-11 season tickets are now on sale and start as low as $10 per game. The Mavericks require a $50 non-refundable deposit per seat which secures a high priority number. Call the Mavericks front office at (816) 252-7825 to secure tickets.
Road to the Playoffs - The Mavericks lead the Oilers by four points and are currently in the fifth and final playoff spot in the Northern Conference. Missouri trails Mississippi by just one point for fourth place, and all three teams (MIS, MIZ, TUL) have nine games remaining.
Youth Jersey Night - The first 1,000 kids 12 and under will receive a Mavericks youth jersey courtesy of Shocking Prices on Tuesday night when the Mavs host the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees.
Fantastic February - Missouri finished February with a record of 9-3-1 marking their best month of their inaugural season. The team has also won eight of their last nine games and is currently on a four-game winning streak tying a season long win streak.
