Brahmas To Wait Tables For Charity Tomorrow At Hooters

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, Texas (March 1)-The Texas Brahmas will turn in their ice skates and sticks for an apron and tablet as they serve as waiters for charity at Hooters from 6-8 PM tomorrow in the "Tip-A-Waiter" event.
Brahmas players will wait on patrons, take orders and help clear tables, with the assistance of the Hooters waitresses, all in the name of charity at the Hooters in North Richland Hills (Hwy. 26). Tips earned by the Brahmas players will be donated to the Community Enrichment Center of North Richland Hills. This is the first year the Brahmas have conducted the "Tip-A-Waiter" event.
"This is a great opportunity for our fans to socialize with our players while raising funds for a great local organization," said Brahmas Head Coach Dan Wildfong.
On Friday, the Brahmas hit the ice with a matchup against the Laredo Bucks at 7:05 PM; the first 1000 fans in attendance will receive a free Brahmas cap courtesy of NYTEX Sports. Texas squares up against the Rapid City Rush on Saturday at 7:05 PM for the first time in the team's history.
