Moncton Wildcats News Release
The Moncton Wildcats downed the Shawinigan Cataractes 3-1 on Friday night in front of 3325 fans at the Centre Bionest.
Alex Wall and David Savard scored for the Cats in the first. The second period was scoreless. Raphael Pouliot got a short-handed goal for Shawinigan at 3:44 of the third but Captain Scott Brannon got the Wildcats insurance market at 10:08.
Shots on goal were 28-25 for Shawinigan.
