
Dorsey, Temple And Anderson Receive NBA Development League Showcase Honors

MCALLEN, TEXAS - The NBA Development League announced today that Rio Grande Valley Vipers forward Joey Dorsey is a member of the 2010 NBA Development League Showcase First Team, guard Antonio Anderson is on the third team and guard Garrett Temple has received honorable mention for their efforts this week in Boise, Idaho.
Dorsey averaged 17.5 points and 16.5 rebounds per game while hitting 13-of-19 shots (68.4%). In Wednesday's win over the Bakersfield Jam, Dorsey scored a career-high tying 27 points while recording a career-high 22 rebounds (tied for the second-highest single-game total in franchise history) in a career-high 42 minutes of action. Dorsey hit all 11 of his field goal attempts in that game.
Anderson averaged 10.5 points and 4.5 assists per game, including 17 points and seven assists on Wednesday.
Temple averaged 17.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game.
The Vipers went 1-1 at the NBA Development League Showcase.
