DES MOINES, IA, Jan. 9, 2010 - Othyus Jeffers, the 2009 NBA D-League Rookie of the Year, has returned to the Iowa Energy and will be in uniform tonight against the Rio Grande Valley Vipers.
Jeffers, a 6'5"guard/forward who averaged 20.6 points and 8.8 rebounds for the Energy last season, started this year with NGC Cantu in the Italian League.
Iowa hosts Rio Grande Valley tonight in a battle between first place teams. The game will be held at Vet's Auditorium as part of the Energy's 70's Night. For tickets, visit IowaNBA.com or the Vet's Auditorium box office. Tickets are $10 per person.
