BOISE, ID, Jan. 9, 2010 - The Idaho Stampede and the Austin Toros ended a two game series in Boise with one win apiece. The Toros rebounded from Friday night's game to defeat the Idaho Stampede 105-89.

Austin went up by three at the end of the first quarter and maintained the lead the entire game. At the end of the half, Toros forward Dwayne Jones had his 14th double-double of the season with 12 points and 10 rebounds.

Idaho ended the game with four players scoring in double figures including Anthony Tolliver with a game high 27 and Donell Taylor coming off the bench to score 25.

"We entered this game playing six games in nine days," said Stampede Head Coach Bob MacKinnon. "I think it caught up with us. And when you're playing a quality team like Austin they're going to take advantage of it."

The Toros ended with six players in double figures, including Curtis Jerrells with 25, Alonzo Gee and Dwayne Jones with 19 each, Lewis Clinch with 16 points, Eddie Basden with 12 points, and Justin Bowen with 10.

"We played really hard, and focused defensively on rebounding," said Toros Head Coach Quin Snyder. "The Stampede is one of the best teams we have played, but we had energy and the team responded well."

The Stampede face the Reno Bighorns at Qwest Arena next Friday, January 15th at 7 p.m. The Austin Toros travel to Tulsa to battle 66ers on January 14th at 7 p.m.
