Three Wranglers To San Antonio

Las Vegas, NV - The Las Vegas Wranglers(r) announced today that the San Antonio Rampage have recalled forwards Matt Watkins and Justin Bernhardt. The Wranglers also announced that defenseman Robbie Bina was signed to a Professional Tryout (PTO).

Bina, 26, departs as the Wranglers leading scorer with 14 points in 14 games. The Grand Forks, North Dakota, native also leads the team in assists with 11. This is Bina's second opportunity in the American Hockey League. Last season the 5'8" defenseman spent 37 games with the Springfield Falcons, totaling one goal and seven assists.

Bernhardt, 21, is in his first professional season and has tallied three goals and one assist in nine games with the Wranglers. The Yorkton, Saskatchewan, native began the season with the Rampage, registering five penalty minutes in three games. He accumulated 242 points (103 goals, 139 assists) in 307 career WHL games with Prince Albert, Kelowna and Regina (2003-09).

Watkins, 23, earns his first call-up to the American Hockey League. The Aylesbury, Saskatchewan, native has appeared in 14 games with the Wranglers, posting four goals and seven assists.
