Tulsa Oilers News Release

Center Rob Hisey, who figured in seven of the Tulsa Oilers nine goals in the Tulsa Oilers two games last week, has earned the Oakley/Central Hockey League Player of the Week Award for the week ending Sunday November 1st.

Hisey, 5-foot-9, 175 pounds from Oakville, ON had racked up four assists, then provided the Oilers game winning goal with a dazzling individual effort scoring by shooting the puck between his legs in Tulsa's 5-4 win over Rapid City. He followed that five point night with a two goal effort in a 5-4 loss at Mississippi Friday night.

Hisey is the Oilers leading scorer with seven goals and five assists for 12 points in only 5 games. That is an average of 2.4 points per game. The Oilers host the expansion Allen Americans in their first visit to the BOK Center Tuesday night at 7:05 p.m. It is $2 Tuesday with beer and soft drinks sold for only $2 at the game.

Tickets for all Oilers games are available at the BOK Center box office or by calling 1-866-7-BOK CTR (726-5287). Tickets can also be purchased on line at www.tulsaoilers.com and at area Reasor's Grocery Stores.
