Rampage Send Bernhardt To Las Vegas

SAN ANTONIO (October 21, 2009) - San Antonio Rampage General Manager Brad Treliving announced today that the Rampage have assigned center Justin Bernhardt to the Las Vegas Wranglers (ECHL).

Bernhardt, 21, appeared in three games with the Rampage this season and collected five penalty minutes on Oct. 16 at Houston for a charging major.

The Yorkton, Saskatchewan native played six seasons in the WHL and accumulated 242 points (103 goals, 139 assists) in 307 games with Regina, Kelowna and Prince Albert.

Bernhardt led the Prince Albert Raiders with 92 points (35 goals, 57 assists) in 72 games during the 2008-09 season and was selected to the WHL East 2nd All-Star Team.

The Rampage host three games in three nights this weekend starting this Friday when the Hamilton Bulldogs make their first and only visit to the AT&T Center at 7 p.m. for KISS ROCKS $1 Drink Night. The Rampage look to add to their "Lone Star Faceoff" standings points when they host the Houston Aeros on Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 3 p.m.
