Twilight's Kellan Lutz To Appear At Saturday's Game

PEORIA, Ill. (October 21, 2009) - Kellan Lutz, who plays Emmett Cullen in the Twilight movie series, will appear and sign autographs during the Peoria Rivermen game this Saturday. His appearance, presented by CEFCU - Your Credit Union - in association with Comcast, 97.3 RiverCountry, and the Peoria Journal Star E-Z Pay program, comes less than one month before the release of his latest movie The Twilight Saga: New Moon.

The Rivermen are inviting current season ticket holders to arrive at the game by 5 p.m. and be the first in line to meet Lutz. Rivermen season ticket holders can lineup at the "Red Carpet" entrance (in the Great Hall of the Peoria Civic Center) and will be lead to the front of the autograph line. Season ticket holders MUST be present at the entrance by 5 p.m. and show their Rivermen Rewards Card in order to take advantage of this VIP treatment.

He will sign autographs from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. in the concourse of Carver Arena. Autographs will be free of charge and color pictures of Lutz will be available to purchase for $5.

Lutz, 24, is set to star in the movies Warrior, and Meskada, as well as a remake of A Nightmare on Elm Street that will be released in 2010. His acting credits include roles on the television shows 90210, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, and The Bold and the Beautiful.

The Rivermen host the Rockford IceHogs on Saturday at 7 p.m. in their fourth meeting of the young season. Tickets are available at the Peoria Civic Center box office, by calling 309-676-1040, or online through www.rivermen.net/tickets.
