
Wranglers Sign Josh Prudden

Las Vegas, NV - The Las Vegas Wranglers announced that they have signed center Josh Prudden to a standard player contract. The team also announced several roster moves in preparation for the 2009 - 10 season.
Prudden, 29, enters his seventh professional season after a four-year career at the University of New Hampshire. The 5'10" center has split time between the ECHL and AHL in his seven seasons with 273 total games in the AHL with the Cleveland Barons, Worcester Sharks, and Manitoba Moose. In 348 regular season games the Andover, MA, native has accumulated 72 goals, 107 assists, and 260 penalty minutes.
"Josh is a player I am extremely familiar with from his seasons in Fresno. He's a veteran player and his experience will be a great asset both to the team and to me," stated Wranglers General Manager and Head Coach Ryan Mougenel.
In other roster moves, the Wranglers announced that they have released forwards John Morea and Jerry Pollastrone and defenseman Jason Fredricks. The Wranglers also announced that tryout players Matt Whitehead and Gabe Andre have been released. Center Justin Taylor has been granted his free agency.

The Wranglers open the 2009-10 season at home on Friday, October 16, 2009, at 7:05 PM against Utah. 2009-10 season seat packages are on sale now at (702) 471-PUCK. The Wranglers play all 36 regular season home games at the Orleans Arena, located adjacent to the Orleans Hotel and Casino at 4500 W. Tropicana Avenue.
