
Ontario's McEwan Fined

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL announced that it has fined Ontario left wing
James McEwan an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL
Preseason Game #9 at Las Vegas on Oct. 8.
McEwan was assessed a Major Penalty and a Game Misconduct for Spearing at
the conclusion of the game.
He is fined under Rule 29 Supplemental Discipline.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and
the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the
ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
