Reading's Herneisen Fined
October 13, 2009 - ECHL (ECHL) News Release
PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL announced that it has fined Reading assistant
coach Matt Herneisen an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in
ECHL Preseason Game #19 against Trenton on Oct. 11.
Herneisen was assessed a Game Misconduct under Rule 75.5 - Unsportsmanlike
Conduct.
He is fined under Rule 29 Supplemental Discipline.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and
the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the
ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
