Ottawa Assigns Brodeur To Binghamton

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators, in conjunction with the Ottawa Senators, announced that goaltender Mike Brodeur has been assigned to the American Hockey League.

Brodeur, 26, cleared waivers at noon today and will report to B-Sens training camp.

The Calgary native split one pre-season game with Brian Elliott while with Ottawa. In the Senators' 2-1 loss to the Florida Panthers on Sept. 16, Brodeur allowed one goal on ten shots, in the final 26 minutes of the game.

The B-Sens training camp roster now stands at 28 players: four goaltenders, eight defensemen and 16 forwards.

The B-Sens face the Syracuse Crunch Saturday, Sept. 26 for their second home pre-season game at the Broome Community College Ice Center at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $10.00 general admission, $8.00 for season ticket holders, and can be purchased at the Binghamton Senators' executive offices or by calling 607-722-7364.
