Worcester Sharks Announce Training Camp Roster

WORCESTER - Worcester Sharks General Manager Wayne Thomas announced the training camp roster for the Sharks in preparation for the teams' fourth season of hockey in Worcester. The Sharks will begin training camp at the New England Sports Center in Marlboro on Tuesday, Sept. 22.

The Sharks will begin training camp with 34 players (19 forwards, 11 defensemen, and four goaltenders).

The Sharks will play three preseason games during their nine-day camp beginning with a matchup against the Hartford Wolf Pack at Trinity College on Wed., Sept. 23, at 7 p.m.

Next, the Sharks will travel to Springfield for a tilt against the Falcons at the Mass Mutual Center on Fri., Sept. 25, at 7:30 p.m.

The team will round out the preseason schedule at International Skating Center in Simsbury, CT with another battle against the Wolf Pack on Sun., Sept. 27, at 3 p.m.

Worcester's training camp in preparation for the season opener on Saturday, Oct. 2 at Adirondack against the Phantoms will conclude on Sept. 30.
