(Windsor) Spitfires right-winger Greg Nemisz is the Precision Jewellers and Windsor Spitfires Player of the Month for January as selected by the team's coaching staff. In 13 games played during the month, Nemisz scored 8 goals and added 9 assists for 17 points and posted a plus-9 plus/minus rating. He also had 6 multi-point games in January, including a two-goal, one assist performance against the Brampton Battalion on January 4th as well as one-goal two assist efforts versus the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds on January 9th and Barrie Colts on January 17th.

The 18 year-old Courtice, Ontario native was selected by the Calgary Flames in the 1st round, 25th overall at the 2008 NHL Entry Draft in Ottawa. Nemisz is currently tied for 11th in the OHL Scoring Race with 62 points in 53 games played.

Nemisz received a $300 Bulova watch, courtesy of Dan Thomas from Precision Jewellers prior to the commencement of the Spitfires February 1st home game versus the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds for his outstanding performance in January.
