Wolf Pack Jersey Auction Raises More than $11,000 for March of Dimes

HARTFORD, January 18, 2009: Northland AEG announced today that Saturday's auction of Hartford Wolf Pack limited-edition specialty jerseys raised a total of $11,410. Those proceeds were donated to March of Dimes.

The Wolf Pack players wore the jerseys in home games this past Friday night against Springfield and Saturday night vs. Providence. The auction Saturday was conducted throughout the first two periods of the game, and the winning bidders received the jerseys from the players, on the ice after the game.

The highest bid in the auction was $2,000, for the #30 jersey of Wolf Pack goaltender Matt Zaba.

The Wolf Pack return to action tomorrow, Monday, January 19th; in Portland, for a holiday matinee against the Pirates, with faceoff at 1:00 PM (96.5 HD 2, www.hartfordwolfpack.com, www.wtic.com, www.ahllive.com). The Pack's next home game is this Friday night, January 23rd, as the Lowell Devils invade the XL Center for a 7:00 game on Guida's Family Value Night. Family Value packages start at $39 and include three tickets, three hot dogs or pizza slices, three sodas and a Wolf Pack souvenir.
