
Sea Dogs Acquire Fifth Round Draft Pick

SAINT JOHN, NB --- Saint John Sea Dogs Head Coach/General Manager Jacques Beaulieu has announced that the team has traded 19-year old forward Alexei Dostoinov to the Gatineau Olympiques in exchange for a fifth round selection at the 2010 QMJHL Entry Draft.
Dostoinov played a total of 26 games for the Sea Dogs during his tenure with the team, registering 5G-16A-21P to go along with 28PIM.
Saint John (21-17-2-2) travels to eastern New Brunswick later today to face the Wildcats (29-3-2-3) at 7pm in an intra-divisional contest at the Moncton Coliseum.
The Sea Dogs' next home game is scheduled to be played on Saturday, January 10 at 7pm versus the defending QMJHL Champion Gatineau Olympiques.
