K-Wings to Start and Finish Next Week in Holiday Parades

Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings, proud member of the International Hockey League, announce Kalamazoo's favorite mascot, Slappy, along with the K-Wings' KC Auto Land Uplander and members of their front office staff will participate in the Marshall and Paw Paw holiday parades next week.

On Monday, December 1st the K-Wings will head to Calhoun County for the 44th Annual Marshall Holiday Parade. The parade, which starts at 7 p.m., will feature more than 100 entries including bands, floats, horses, marching units, and of course Santa Claus to help usher in the holiday season. This year's parade theme is Christmas Heirlooms and Traditions.

Next Saturday, December 6th, it's off to Paw Paw for their annual Christmas Parade. The parade will commence at 10 a.m. and travel throughout downtown.

Single game tickets for the entire K-Wings 2008-09 home schedule are currently on sale at the Wings Stadium Ticket Office. Tickets range from $9.90-$14.90. Prices for K-Wings games will increase $1 for premium game nights (Orange Ice, Golden Ice, Pink Ice, Green Ice & New Years Eve). Fans are also encouraged to purchase their game tickets in advance, as they will save $1 per ticket by getting their seats prior to a game day.
