
Coyotes Recall Ryan Lannon From San Antonio Under Emergency Conditions

GLENDALE, ARIZONA --- Phoenix Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have recalled defenseman Ryan Lannon under emergency conditions from the San Antonio Rampage of the American Hockey League (AHL).
Lannon, 25, has appeared in each of San Antonio's first two games this season. He also played in three preseason contests for the Coyotes this year.
The 6-foot-2, 213-pound Lannon registered 3-10-13 and 29 PIM in 75 games for Wilkes-Barre Scranton (AHL) last season as well as 1-6-7 in 23 Calder Cup playoff games. In 219 career AHL games with Wilkes-Barre Scranton and San Antonio, Lannon has collected 5-37-42 and 165 PIM. Prior to his AHL career, the Worcester, Mass. native played four seasons at Harvard University.
Lannon was originally selected in the 8th round (239th overall) of the 2002 Entry Draft by Pittsburgh.
