PHILADELPHIA - The Philadelphia Phantoms are gearing up for two big games at the Wachovia Spectrum this weekend. Details are as follows:

FRIDAY, OCT. 17 - PHANTOMS VS. HERSHEY, 7:05 PM - Military Night

All active and retired members of the military get in free with their military ID. The Phantoms will honor former forward Ben Stafford, who is currently serving in Iraq with the United States Marine Corps. Fans can record a message of goodwill for Stafford and other soldiers on the concourse.

SATURDAY, OCT. 18 - PHANTOMS VS. BINGHAMTON, 7:05 PM - VP Night

The Phantoms take a stand for the second in command at Saturday night's game against the Binghamton Senators. While many in the country focus for the race for President, the Phantoms are giving Vice-Presidential candidates Joe Biden and Sarah Palin the recognition they deserve. The Phantoms are offering half-price admission to all residents of Delaware, Alaska, and all "hockey moms" who bring a child to the game. In addition, the Phantoms will grant free admission to anyone named named Piper, Willow, Bristol, Track, Trig, Hunter, Beau or Ashley.

As part of the evening, representatives from the Republican and Democratic parties will be on the concourse. There will be a festive, patriotic theme with flags and red, white and blue hats. During the game, the Phantoms will do a Lucky Row lipstick giveaway, and there will be several other events and happenings over the course of the night.

Tickets for both games are still available! Call 1-800-298-4200 or go online to phantomshockey.com for more details.

The best way for fans to secure a ticket for the final regular season game at the Spectrum on April 12, 2009 is to purchase either a game plan package or season tickets. Packages are available now in convenient blocks of 6, 10, 16, 20 and 40 games. Receiving an impressive list of exclusive benefits, discount prices and the same seat for each game begins at just $60!
