
Hawks Fall to Spokane 5-2

Portland Winterhawks News Release
The Spokane Chiefs would score three third period goals and defeat the Portland Winter Hawks by a score of 5-2 in front of 3,513 at the Spokane Chiefs on Wednesday night.
Travis Ehrhardt and Luke Walker both had a goal and an assist for Portland in the loss. Both Portland goals came on power plays, and they finished 2 for 6 on the man advantage on the night.
Spokane got power play goals Levko , Drayson Bowman and Blake Gal and even-strength goals from David Conrad and Mitch Wahl. Gal's goal was into an empty net. Koper, Bowman and Wahl would all add assists for two point games. Spokane finished 3 for 5 on the power play in the game.
James Reid picks up his first WHL victory in net for Spokane, stopping 30 of 32 shots, while Kurtis Mucha stopped 35 of 39 shots in net for Portland.
Next up, the Hawks travel to Brandon to take on the Wheat Kings on Friday night, air-time is 5:10 PM Pacific time on AM 1550 KKAD, with the puck drop at 5:30.
