
Penguins Trade Rights To Defenseman Michal Sersen

The Pittsburgh Penguins have traded the rights to unsigned draft pick, Michal Sersen to the Tampa Bay Lightning in exchange for Tampa Bay's fifth-round pick at the 2009 Entry Draft, it was announced today by Executive Vice President and General Manager Ray Shero.
Sersen, 22, was drafted by the Penguins in the fifth round (130th overall) of the 2004 Entry Draft. The 6-1, 200-pound defenseman is a native of Gelnica, Slovakia.
