Northwest Arkansas Naturals News Release
The North Arkansas Symphony performance, originally scheduled to take place postgame on July 3rd, has been rescheduled to take place after the Naturals game against the Tulsa Drillers on Sunday, August 31st. The original show was postponed due to severe and inclement weather which suspended the Naturals game in the seventh inning.
The festivities will begin at 4:00 PM with a special pre-game ceremony followed by the game against the Tulsa Drillers, followed by the symphony and then a spectacular fireworks show afterwards. Single-admission tickets for this exclusive event are priced at $20 and will include the Naturals game against the Drillers, the symphony performance, and the fireworks afterwards. Group ticket rates (for groups of 20 or more) will be priced at $15.
Naturals fans holding tickets from July 3rd may exchange their ticket for a similar-value ticket (based on availability) for the August 31st game. July 3rd tickets may also continue to be used as rainchecks good for other Naturals tickets up to the dollar value denoted on the front of the ticket (based on availability). All exchanges must be made in person at the Naturals box office during normal box office hours (10-5 Monday-Saturday, Noon-5 Sunday and throughout the game on game days).
"We were excited to partner with the North Arkansas Symphony. Everyone worked hard to make sure this great event that we planned had a chance to get rescheduled," Naturals' General Manager Eric Edelstein stated.
Located in Fayetteville, the North Arkansas Symphony performances serve Benton and Washington County communities. Founded in 1954 with financial and program support from the University of Arkansas, the Symphony has increased its size and number of services to reflect the region's rapidly increasing population and diversity. Its mission is to provide North Arkansas with a fully professional regional orchestra presenting quality music, education and programs to enrich the communities. Programs are initiated and designed for the purpose of enlarging the symphony's demographic audience, supporting the health and wellness of the region's community and embedding the educational value of classical music within every aspect of the new and emerging cultural infrastructure.
