Syracuse Mets News Release

SYRACUSE (NY) - The Syracuse Chiefs announced today that in honor of Donte' Greene's expected selection in the NBA Draft on Thursday, fans wearing their "DONT'E LEAVE" and "Dynasty" T-Shirts to Thursday night's 7:15 PM game versus the Toledo Mud Hens will receive a free Level 200 ticket to the game. In addition fans can trade in their "DON'TE LEAVE" and "Dynasty" T-Shirts at Chiefs WhistleStop Souvenir Store for a Chiefs t-shirt.

The Chiefs t-shirt features the Chiefs logo on the front with the caption "Our Green is Staying" in reference to the team's beautiful new natural grass playing surface, which ironically was completed in November of 2007, the same month that Donte' Greene made his debut on the Syracuse University Men's Basketball team. All "DON'TE LEAVE" and "Dynasty" T-Shirts collected will be donated to the Salvation Army.

Fans can stop by Stadium Guest Services and guess what pick Donte' will be selected with in the draft for a chance to win a prize pack from the Chiefs that includes an "Our Green is Staying" t-shirt.

"Donte' Greene undoubtedly had a major impact not only on Syracuse University but the City of Syracuse," said Chiefs General Manager John Simone. "Many Syracuse fans purchased these t-shirts with the hopes that they would be able to wear them for the next few years but that is not the case. We are offering these fans a chance to make a trade for a t-shirt that they can wear for years to come because the Chiefs have been in Syracuse for many years and we will be here for many more to come and our "Green" grass is here to stay.
