Pelicans and Skopelos Giving Away Rehearsal Dinner at Pels Game

On Saturday, June 21, brides-to-be in the Pensacola area will have an opportunity to win a free rehearsal dinner provided by Skopelos on the Bay Seafood and Steak Restaurant, valued at $2,000.

Brides should pre-register at www.pensacolapelicans.com.

At the game, brides will compete in several wedding themed on-field between-inning promotions such as the over the shoulder t-shirt toss, dizzy dress race, golf ball chip into the garter, and more. The final contest will pit the brides against each other as they search for "buried treasure" in pools filled with mud. Whoever gathers the most "treasure" will be awarded the rehearsal dinner.

"Weddings are expensive," said Pelicans General Manager Talmadge Nunnari who recently married in March. "This is a nice prize and I'm sure a lot of women would love the opportunity to have their rehearsal dinner at Skopelos. I think it will be a fun night for everyone involved."

Skopelos is located at 670 Scenic Highway overlooking Pensacola Bay in Pensacola, Florida.

The Pelicans are currently on a six-game road trip and return to Pelican Park on Monday, June 16 @ 6:35 p.m. for the beginning of a six-game home stand. It will be Mutt Monday, all dogs are invited to attend the game on a leash.
