Greensboro Grasshoppers News Release
Salisbury, Md. - Friday's opening game of the Greensboro-Delmarva series has been postponed due to poor weather conditions at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium in Salisbury, Md. The two teams will make up the game Sunday as part of a double-header beginning at 12:05 p.m.
Both games of the double-header are scheduled to be seven inning contests.
Greensboro (23-17) has had one other game postponed this year. In the season's opening series, the Hoppers were rained out in Augusta and made the game up the following day as part of a double-header; Greensboro split the double header by winning game one before losing the second game in extra innings.
The Hoppers are next scheduled to be in action Saturday at 7:05 p.m. as they take on the Shorebirds in what has now become the series opener due to tonight's postponement.
