
Collmenter Returns to Mid-Michigan

Josh Collmenter, who played collegiately at Central Michigan University and led Homer High School to a state championship, is scheduled to start Monday for the South Bend Silver Hawks against the Great Lakes Loons at Dow Diamond.
Collmenter, drafted by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the 15th round of the 2007 amateur draft, is 2-2 with a 6.43 ERA in his first season with South Bend. He was the 2007 MAC Pitcher of the Year and the program's all-time career leader in strikeouts.
In 2004, Collmenter led Homer High to an undefeated season and a Class C Michigan State Championship.
